For the best work of foreign fiction published in Italy in the last year
The jury of the tenth edition of the Premio Gregor von Rezzori – Città di Firenze for the best work of foreign fiction published in Italy in the last year, is delighted to announce its shortlist:

The jury members of the prize for the best translation of a foreign work of fiction, Ilide Carmignani, Leonardo Marcello Pignataro and Martina Testa, president, have announced this year’s winner:
Fulvio Ferrari for L’arte di collezionare mosche (The Fly Trap) by Fredrik Sjöberg, published by Iperborea.
The members of the jury for the Premio Gregor von Rezzori are Beatrice Monti della Corte, Ernesto Ferrero, president, Alberto Manguel, Andrea Bajani, Paolo Giordano and Edmund White. The judges will select a winner, which will be announced during the prize-giving ceremony on Wednesday 8th June at 6pm in the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence. The prize is the culmination of the events that make up the Festival degli Scrittori, which takes place in Florence on the 6th, 7th and 8th June 2016. It is a three-day festival dedicated to the best international contemporary literature.
The Festival is supported by the City of Florence and is promoted by Ente Cassa Risparmio di Firenze and Gabinetto Scientifico G.P. Vieusseux. Also with the collaboration of the Centro per il libro e la lettura del MiBAC and of the Repubblica Firenzeas media partner.
